Getting paid

Bank information

Make sure we have the right bank information on record as we’ll settle with you to the bank account on file. You can check it anytime in the dashboard .


Instamoney automatically settles with you based on your business process (typically T+1 for bank transfers). Many choose to set longer settlement periods as the funds can be reused for future disbursements. You may also trigger a withdrawal from available balance anytime through the API. Settlements are typically executed in the mornings which means it may arrive in your bank account later that day. As always, if for some reason the bank servers go down, we will queue the transaction and execute once the bank servers are operational.

The settlement amount (a.k.a. available balance) is a function of collections (money in from bank transfers) - disbursements (money out) - instamoney fees incurred. Note that the settlement amount is net of our fees so you don’t have to worry about paying this to us. This is summarised daily in our invoice to you.

We settle afterwards for a few reasons:

  • A) Instamoney will charge our fees at the end of the day and the net amount will be settled with you once daily.

You can choose the settlement time during the initial configuration by contacting support. All these transactions are accessible and downloadable via the dashboard.
